Get to know Ashley

As a Quad Cities native, I know the Quad City area well and am proud to call it home and grow my business in a region I love. Working in real estate has been part of the plan for as long as I can remember. I received my bachelor’s degree in business management with an emphasis in marketing finance and management from Western Illinois University with the intention of applying these skills to build and operate a successful real estate business.

My educational background and real estate knowledge have allowed me to form The Pankey Group, which consists of myself and and Maria Sisul. We also have a transaction coordinator named Carly Morris who does a great job at managing transactions from start to finish. Together we make it a priority to engage with our clients in a way that sets them up for a smooth home buying and selling experience!

What sets me apart:

For buyers - I start by helping with the preapproval process and then we hit the ground running with custom listing alerts, and viewing properties. I don’t stop until we get through inspections, lender requirements, closing, and unpacking every last box!

For sellers - I start by listening to your wants and needs. Once we have a market value determined we will come up with a custom plan to make your move a smooth and seamless process. 

I offer full staging for all my seller clients because I believe in the power of staging to help show a home in its best light! I then market the home in a number of ways including open houses, agent tours, internet presence, mailers, fliers, and guided tours. You can trust that your home will be marketed and offers will be smooth from pending to close! 

For investors - I work with both experienced investors and those trying to learn the real estate market and need guidance on becoming an investor. For new investors, I am willing to provide my experience in property management by pointing them to the tools to owning profitable rentals, and my market experience to help them choose a good flip. I strive to stay up to speed on the ever-changing inventory of, REO, HUD, Foreclosure, and auction properties, and continuously look for ideal multifamily properties.

Real estate is my passion, my career, and my hobby. My husband, Ryan, and I are heavily invested in expanding our real estate portfolio with rental properties, staging services, and flipping homes, including our personal home! Through this, I have become very well-versed in helping and supporting my clients do the same. Ryan is incredibly supportive and is very involved in my business life. Most of my clients meet Ryan at some point due to his detailed skill work as a handyman and contractor. He is also the muscle behind our team’s staging projects!

It’s a joy to be able to apply what I’ve learned through my own experience and be a resource for clients whether it be providing advice on renovations or supplying a list of my preferred vendors. It’s important to me that you enjoy the entire house hunting and selling process. I ensure this by fast and reliable communication, timely marketing tactics, applying innovative technologies to streamline where we can, and of course, listening to your needs!  I commit myself to a full-service experience for buyers, sellers, and investors because that’s my job, you have a lot on your plate when you are buying and selling your home, I’m here to lessen your workload!

When not busy helping my clients, I love spending time with my husband, two sons, and our two rescue dogs. Koko and CornDog are loved members of our family and we like taking them on hikes and walks as much as we can. I enjoy watching my sons play soccer and traveling with their teams. Our family also loves traveling and exploring anything and everything outdoors. It’s no secret that I love real estate and enjoy house flipping, renovations, investing, and home design in my spare time. I am a school board member of the EMSD 37, I teach at Junior Achievement and try to volunteer within the schools when I have the opportunity and hope to do more in the future.
